The swimmers of the Basque Team Nahia Zudaire and Iñigo Llopis won the bronze medal at the European Adapted Swimming Championships in Madeira on Tuesday. Zudaire did it in the 100-meter breaststroke SB7 class with a time of 1:32.79, which meant that he broke the Spanish record; Llopis, on the other hand, did the same in the 100-meter butterfly category of the S8 class.

Tuesday’s was the second medal for both in this competition. Not surprisingly, the swimmer from Zubieta won a silver medal on Sunday in the 400m freestyle S8, while the San Sebastian native was the winner in the 100m backstroke on Monday.
