The hosts Germany became the first to qualify for the round of 16 of the European Championship (Euro 2024), after confirming their strong start by beating Hungary 2-0, Wednesday, in the second round of Group A competitions.
Jamal Musiala (22) and captain Ilkay Gundogan (67) scored the goals for Germany, who recorded their second win to collect 6 points.
The hosts beat Scotland 5-1 in the opening match.
Germany were 3 points ahead of Switzerland, who later face Scotland, while Hungary suffered their second loss after the first to Switzerland 1-3.
