Guardiola is the best coach in the Premier League
Pep Guardiola won the Premier League Coach of the Year award after leading Manchester City to a fourth consecutive title in an unprecedented achievement.
The Spaniard has won the award four previous times since joining Manchester City in 2016.
With six league titles, Guardiola is now the second most successful manager in the history of English football.
Guardiola said: “This award reflects the hard work and excellence of all the staff at the club in all departments. I am very proud to lead this group of players and work side by side every day with great coaches and support.”
“Winning four titles in a row is one of the proudest achievements of my career. It’s the toughest league competition in the world and our opponents have played amazing football.”
Guardiola outperformed rivals Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa coachUnai Emery, Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola and Liverpool coachJürgen Klopp.
