The federation posted a short video on its account on the social media platform X to announce the signing of Diaby, showing a private plane bearing the image of the French star with the caption “On its way to the final destination, with a new tiger on board.”

Press reports had earlier said that the Frenchman had successfully passed the medical examination, on Tuesday, in preparation for joining the “Brigadier”.

Diaby became the third player to join the “Brigadier” after Algerian Hossam Aouar, who joined the team last week, and Moaz Fakihi.
