UAE President pardons football match defendants
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, ordered a pardon for those accused in the events of the football match between the Egyptian clubs Zamalek and Pyramids, which was held in Abu Dhabi on October 20.
According to the Emirates News Agency, this pardon “comes from the fraternal relations between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt , and from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s keenness to strengthen the fraternal ties that unite the two brotherly peoples.”
