Manchester City won 2-0 as a guest of Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon and made a new step towards the Premier League title.
The match was number 300 for Pep Guardiola in the English league, and his achievement of 221 wins, 41 draws and only 38 defeats in them is more than impressive. He is at the top of this ranking and leads convincingly, although after him are also arranged exceptional names from the coaching bench.
Immediately after him in this prestigious company stands Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese is 32 successes less than Guardiola, although his losses are only six more.
Third is Jurgen Klopp, who has only one win less than Mourinho, but 33 fewer than the coach of the “citizens”.
Only fourth and fifth are two other names in the coaching profession and the Premier League – Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, who have 183 and 180 wins respectively in their first 300 games in the English elite division.
